Boost Your Immune System with a Healthy Diet in Winter
During winter our bodies become weaker due to extreme weather conditions. This makes our body prone to some diseases. These diseases include URTI (Upper Respiratory Tract Infections) , Sinusitis, Pneumonia, Influenza and Common Cold. Adults, adolescents, children and babies are effected all the same.
Some certain foods can help us boost our immune system in order to protect ourselves from such diseases such as;
- Ginger
- Kephir (A traditional Turkish drink made of yoghurt and some other materials.)
- Herbal teas
- Spinach
- Honey
- Fish
- Orange
- Garlic
- Lemon
- Cinnamon.
